seen his picture. I didn’t know his name or what he looked like? The dark background of
this painting is an image I had in mind from outside my grandma’s house during a cold
autumn, her house being located right in this animal's habitat! My uncles are hunters and
they don’t listen to my bemoaning them not to hunt. I had those antlers, so I decided to
be the body of the animal himself, to be buried under a tree respectfully with him. And
perhaps I wanted to say to my uncles: “We are one! Bury us together or stop killing us.”
